This Just In...

Researchers have finally uncovered the best way for people to lose weight: through a combination of diet and exercise.

A group of Australian doctors analyzed 43 earlier studies, all looking for a connection between exercise and weight loss. The overall finding was that exercise alone won't take off the pounds, though it will boost your cardiovascular health regardless of weight loss. Other benefits of exercise alone include lower blood pressure, higher HDL (good) cholesterol levels, lower LDL (bad) and triglycerides levels, and lower blood sugar levels.

Now add some dietary changes to that exercise plan, and you'll begin to see the pounds melt away. Whether you go for high- or low-intensity workouts, you will lose weight if you also cut calories.
